someone asked me how i think of the names of my songs.
Answer: the names are usually either something i just pull out of the air or word associations, but for electric vinyl pimp horns i got the electric from it being electronic, there are horns in the song and a vinyl scratch part and i think i just threw the pimp horns in because it reminded me of the 70’s or something… =)
About the CD cover:
the cd cover is an image i found on flickr (by Victor Ngo). the setup was cool because the album is called “Classic E B-sides” (Classic, because i’ve tried to mix in classical music with electronica and E for electronica) and so i put the B-sides at the bottom, and it worked out perfectly because the names of the strings on a violin are “E A D G” and on the guitar they are the same, but a guitar has 2 extra strings after that “B” (where B-sides is) and “E”….
i thought i was pretty clever for thinking of that, he he =) but i don’t know how many people will see the same thing =)
